Overview

Excelencia in Education mapped Latino students’ pathways through college and outcomes in the following illustration. This is based on a report by the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center that examined college students over six years and their degree outcomes by race/ethnicity, institutional type, and enrollment intensity. 

46% Earned a 2-yr or 4-yr degree within six years; 19% enrolled after six yrs; 35% not enrolled

 

Of the 65% of Latino students who completed a degree or were in progress, their pathways were as follows:
