10 year snapshot: HSIs, Emerging HSIs, & HSIs with Graduate Programs Excelencia in Education March 2015 Overview This graphic shows the growth in HSIs, Emerging HSIs, and HSIs with graduate programs from 2004-05 to 2013-14. The number of HSIs increased by 167 institutions, Emerging HSIs increased by 113 institutions, and HSIs with graduate programs increased by 69 institutions. HSIs with graduate programs increased at a faster rate (79%), than Emerging HSIs (69%), and HSIs (62%). Suggested Citation: Excelencia in Education.
