This infographic shows fast facts on HSIs in 2023-24.

• There are now 602 HSIs. 

• HSIs are located in 29 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. 

• Over two-thirds of HSIs are public institutions, and the majority of HSIs are 4-year institutions.

• HSIs enroll and graduate two-thirds of all Latino undergraduates. 

• HSIs enroll and graduate over a third of all undergraduates in the nation. 

• Only 7% of HSIs (43) are Seal-certified institutions, demonstrating their commitment to intentionally serving Latino, and all, students.
