Since 2005, Excelencia in Education has recognized nominated programs with evidence of effectiveness for improving Latino and other students’ success in post-secondary education and maintains an online database of current programs. To increase attention to these practices, Excelencia offers a searchable database and has developed a series of mini-briefs highlighting programs that use evidence based practices to serve Latino and other post-traditional students.
The What Works Series highlights selected programs focused on important areas such as College Access for Migrants programs (CAMP), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), guided pathways, Latino males, and faculty representation.
