Overview

These fact sheets share information on the top institutions where the highest concentrations of Latinos are graduating with associate, bachelor, master’s, first professional and doctoral degrees. The data an analysis in these fact sheets aim to serve as an informational tool to compel more outreach and engagement of college-educated Latinos.

Fact Sheets include:

Associate Degrees – Top 25 institutions awarding associate degrees to Latinos in 2012-13. Texas had the most institutions (7), followed by Florida (6).

Bachelor Degrees – Top 25 institutions awarding bachelor’s degrees to Latinos in 2012-13. California had the most institutions (8), followed by Texas (7).

Master’s Degrees – Top 25 institutions awarding master’s degrees to Latinos in 2012-13. California had the most institutions (6), followed by Texas (5).

First Professional Degrees – Top 25 institutions awarding doctoral degrees to Latinos at the professional practice level in 2012-13. Florida and Puerto Rico had the most institutions (6 each).

Doctoral Degrees – Top 25 institutions awarding doctoral degrees to Latinos at research/scholarship level in 2012-13. California had the most institutions (9), followed by Texas (4) and Puerto Rico (4).
