More Latinos are earning doctorates. Between 1996 and 2006, Hispanics increased doctorates earned by 89%. While the overall increase for doctorates earned during that time was 26%, the number rose 91% for blacks and 14% for whites.
Profile
Mr. Wolfe's professional experiences include Vice President of Partnership Marketing at Univision Communications Inc. and management positions with Akamai Technologies, Experian Digital and Visual Sciences. Mr. Wolfe began his career in investment banking and private equity, working at The Blackstone Group, Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) and Violy, Byorum & Partners and Platinum Partners.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Excelencia in Education, Mr. Wolfe serves on the Board of Directors of the Claudio Reyna Foundation; the Michael J. Berkeley Foundation; as a JPMorgan Chase Emerging Leader of the New America Alliance; a Board Advisor to Sponsors for Educational Opportunity; and as a Council Member for the Tufts University Alumni Council.
He earned a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, was a Fulbright Scholar, and completed the Greater Boston Executive MBA Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management.
