Future Publications

Two more publications based on Excelencia's work with 12 institutions— six community colleges and six public universities—in three states that are among the nation’s leaders in Latino enrollment and degree completion will be released later this year. They are:

• Perspectives on Leadership at Hispanic-Serving Institutions – (Fall, 2008). This brief summarizes the views and activities of institution presidents to ensure Hispanic student success at their campuses. 
• Refining Measures of Success at Hispanic-Serving Institutions – (Winter, 2008). This brief explores measures of institutional success— beyond traditional graduation rates— that capture the institutions’ investment in the success of nontraditional students.

These briefs are based on case studies of the 12 institutions supported by the Lumina Foundation for Education.
