Latino Student Success: Particpating Schools
The Latino Student Success project series engaged campus teams at 12 institutions representing three states with different policies governing colleges in their higher education system. The goal of the series was to examine institutional data and practices that address Latino student success. Further, each institution has a unique history, distinctive service areas, and diverse institutional practices that enriched the project.
The LSS project series addressed four critical areas:
- Understanding what it means for a college to be “Hispanic serving”
- Defining Latino student success
- Exploring useful and appropriate indicators for institutions to hold themselves accountable for educating Latinos
- Practical ways for community college and baccalaureate granting institutions to measure student success
