  • Facilitate acclimatization and success of Latino matriculated college students who begin fall 2009.
Outcome:

The grant gave the university the opportunity to invest in a number of strategies to reach out to Latino students. They were able to collaborate with a wide range of community agencies and schools. Because of these partnerships and relationships, LEAP2Success was able to reach middle and high school students, as well as parents and other members of the larger community. The university received a Higher Education State grant to support a half-time position of Latino Outreach Coordinator going forward.
