To ensure the high caliber of tomorrow’s workforce and civic leadership, Excelencia in Education links research, policy, and practice to inform policymakers and institutional leaders who in turn promote policies and practices that support higher educational achievement for Latino and all students. Examples of Excelencia is the only data driven initiative to recognize programs and departments with evidence of effectiveness in accelerating Latino student success at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate levels.
