New Report on Increasing Latino College Completion
Excelencia in Education has just released "Roadmap for Ensuring America's Future By Increasing Latino College Completion." The publication is the result of a collaboration among 60 partners and is a tool for stimulating and facilitating dialogue in communities across the nation about action needed to increase degree attainment generally, and Latino degree attainment specifically. According to the authors, Latinos will have to earn 5.5 million degrees to close equity gaps and help meet the nation's degree attainment goals by 2020. The report details what community leaders, college/institution leaders, and state and federal leaders can do to ensure that more Latinos graduate from college.
Roadmap for Ensuring America's Future is free and available in pdf format on the Excelencia Web site.
