The following are lists for HSIs, Emerging HSIs, and HSIs with graduate programs.

This list serves as a reference and provides the IPEDS UnitID codes for each institution that was an HSI in 2012-13. This file was created using the Excelencia in Education “Create an HSI list” methodology located under “Tools.”
In 2012-13, there were 370 HSIs located in 15 states and Puerto Rico, representing 11% of all institutions of higher education. Over half (59%) of the Latino undergraduates were enrolled at HSIs during this time.
