Action Network
Connecting and Accelerating Successful Efforts
Significant research and analysis about the needs, experiences, and accomplishments of Latino students are being developed every month. Concurrently, individual policymakers and institutional leaders introduce, refine, and evaluate educational strategies to improve educational outcomes for Latino students and all students. Despite these efforts, the human capital needs of this country requires a faster process of information exchange and replication of effective practices and policies to accelerate Latino student success.
The Excelencia Action Network meets this need and provides network members with access to strategic information and the means to collaborate online to increase Latino student attainment in higher education. Members both use and contribute information through an exchange of ideas and results. The online communication is facilitated and synthesized to produce source documents for Excelencia's Growing What Works Database.
Begun in beta form in fall 2009, the Action Network will be open to subscription in 2010. Please register today with our website to receive email updates on the Action Network.
