This report is Lumina Foundation’s first step toward summarizing research-based evidence to reduce or eliminate Latinos’ educational attainment gap and systematically promote their success in postsecondary education. The report is examines recent published studies that help identify conceptual approaches to the study of Latinos and higher education and specific findings that may have relevance for policy and practice.

Polimemos
PoliMemos are accessible policy memos, summaries of empirical research, updated periodically. Each PoliMemo informs policy and decisions on access and success affecting Latina/os in postsecondary institutions. Each PoliMemo is based on a submitted research report. Their PoliForum serves as a place to share information, ideas, and questions about the state of Latina/os and higher education. Your contributions to this website are invited.

Latinos in HigherEd.com
LatinosinHigherEd.com is the first Latino professional employment web site designed specifically for the higher education community. It was launched in response to a growing concern about the need to promote career opportunities in higher education for the growing Latino population. This site helps employers connect with the largest pool of Latino professionals in higher education in the United States, Puerto Rico and internationally by disseminating employment opportunities to registered candidates and a national network of Latino based organizations and listservs.

Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Website functions as an information-sharing resource on practices to improve institutional effectiveness and to increase the impact of outreach, recruitment and retention programs focusing on Hispanic/Latino students at HSIs and at other institutions with substantial Hispanic/Latino student populations.
